Terms of Use

Welcome to Replacify. Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Replacify mobile application ("App", "Service"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Replacify ("we", "us", "our") is a habit replacement and wellness application designed to help users build healthier behaviours in place of unwanted habits. The App is operated under the bundle identifier com.replacify.app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Replacify. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You may register using email/password, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In. These authentication methods are governed by their respective providers' terms in addition to ours.
  • You may not share your account or allow others to access it.
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Description of the Service

Replacify provides tools to help users reduce or replace unwanted habits through:

  • Paths — structured habit programmes with phases and steps across categories including fitness, reading, cooking, wellness, learning, creative, and outdoors.
  • SOS Support — an in-app tool to help redirect urges in the moment through guided replacement activities. This is a coping aid, not an emergency service.
  • Daily Check-ins — urge tracking to help users monitor patterns over time.
  • Custom Paths — Pro subscribers may create, edit, and share personal habit programmes (subject to Section 8).
  • Progress Tracking — streaks, badges, calendar views, and analytics to motivate continued engagement.
  • Notifications — optional reminders and streak alerts.

5. Not Medical Advice

IMPORTANT HEALTH DISCLAIMER

Replacify is a wellness and habit-building tool, not a medical service. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content in the App — including path descriptions, SOS activities, check-in prompts, and any user-generated content — is for informational and motivational purposes only.

  • Addiction is a serious medical condition. If you are struggling with substance dependence, a recognised eating disorder, or any addiction that affects your physical or mental health, please consult a qualified healthcare professional or addiction specialist.
  • Nothing in the App should be interpreted as a substitute for professional medical advice, psychiatric care, or clinical addiction treatment.
  • The SOS feature is a habit-redirection tool. It is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or danger, call your local emergency services immediately (e.g., 000 in Australia, 999 in the UK, 911 in the US).

6. Subscriptions and Billing

6.1 Free Tier

The Free tier includes: 1 active path, unlimited SOS support, daily check-ins, and streaks.

6.2 Pro Subscription

Pro features (unlimited paths, custom path creation, progress calendar & analytics, per-path reminders) are available via:

  • Monthly — $2.99 / month
  • Annual — $19.99 / year (≈ $1.67 / month)
  • Lifetime — $49.99 one-time

6.3 Purchases and Payment

  • All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store using their respective in-app purchase systems, managed via RevenueCat.
  • By completing a purchase, you agree to the applicable store's terms of service in addition to these Terms.
  • Prices are listed in USD and may vary by region as determined by Apple or Google.

6.4 Free Trial

Monthly and Annual plans may include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the applicable subscription price.

6.5 Auto-Renewal

Monthly and Annual subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account (Apple ID or Google account) will be charged within 24 hours before the renewal date.

6.6 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play → Subscriptions on Android). Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period. You retain Pro access until the end of the paid period.

6.7 Refunds

All refund requests are handled by the respective platform, not by Replacify. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple purchases or Google Play Help for Android purchases. We are unable to process refunds directly.

6.8 Lifetime Access

Lifetime purchases grant access to all Pro features for as long as the App is available and maintained. We make no guarantee that the App will remain available indefinitely.

6.9 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give reasonable notice of any price change. Your continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. User Content

7.1 Custom Paths

Pro subscribers may create custom habit paths ("User Content"). You retain ownership of any original content you create.

7.2 Licence to Us

By creating content in the App, you grant Replacify a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7.3 Content Standards

You must not create or submit content that:

  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Promotes self-harm, suicide, dangerous substance use, or illegal activities
  • Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Contains personal information of other individuals without their consent

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards without notice.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
  • Circumvent any subscription gate or paywall through technical or other means
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the App
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code

9. Privacy

Your use of Replacify is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Key points:

  • We collect account information, habit data, check-in data, and device identifiers
  • With your explicit opt-in consent, we collect health and fitness data including sleep data, step counts, and workout/exercise data via Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Health Connect (Android)
  • Health data is used solely to provide wellness insights within the App and is never shared with third parties or used for advertising
  • We use Supabase for secure data storage with row-level security
  • We use RevenueCat for subscription management; RevenueCat may process anonymised purchase data
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties
  • Your data is retained for as long as your account is active
  • You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the App (Profile → Delete Account) or by contacting hello@mcdevlabs.com

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, trademarks, and technology in the App — except User Content — are the exclusive property of Replacify or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Any habit or wellness outcomes will be achieved through use of the App
  • The App is suitable as a replacement for professional medical or psychiatric treatment

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REPLACIFY AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR HEALTH OUTCOMES — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $10 USD IF YOU ARE A FREE USER).

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through the App. Deleting your account terminates these Terms and permanently removes your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that harms other users or the integrity of the Service.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 10, 11, 12, and 14) will continue to apply.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Replacify is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at hello@mcdevlabs.com. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will provide in-app notice.

16. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Replacify regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
